Anubis was part of the rise of the New European
Public from the very beginning. Although much more
of a loose cannon than Fefnir, and prone to random,
violent acts the two became close and Fefnir taught
him most everything he knows about combat. As the
NER began to rise, Anubis rose in rank in the military
and soon became the highest-ranking General in
the New World Alliance, all the while becoming and
more and more powerful Reploid.
Anubis happened to be in Madrid on a military
assignment when the Western Reploid Union rained
down it’s nuclear wrath upon the British Isles and
Iberian Peninsula. He barely survived the explosion.
As WRU troops invaded Spain, Anubis rallied and
reorganized NER forces in the area and held out for
reinforcements from France. There he staged a
massive battle in the nuclear ruins of Spain against
WRU Supreme General, Kraft. As WRU troops were
slowly forced out of the peninsula, Anubis and Kraft
met in the ruins of Barcelona and battled it out
amongst themselves in the middle of heavy combat,
their destined match ending in a draw.
After successfully repelling the WRU’s invasion,
Anubis built up fortifications in Spain to prepare for
the inevitable counterattack, and later is transported
to Seoul to fend off a WRU strike from Japan. His
best attempts fail and WRU troops take the city,
securing a foothold in Asia that would later be the
cause for the fall of the Kunisakae Dominion.
After the “peace treaty” in 2209, Anubis returns to
Europe to prepare for the counterattack that has yet
to come and futilely tries to fend off the eventual
Global Reploid Union invasion in 2210. With
Megaman X and group of prominent NWA figures,
Anubis retreats to help form the Rebellion to
continue fighting Needleman and his evil empire.
