Finishers
The game’s techniques, which are called finishers because they’re usually used to
finish off an opponent, but don’t have to. They can have any effect ranging from
stunning an opponent, thus preventing them from using their next action, to simply
doing enhanced damage, but there are some guidelines:
1. Direct enhancements to your Skill cannot exceed 10, and if it is 10 then that is the
only effect it may have.
2. Stuns cannot do anything more than halve the end result of the next action.
3. Attribute enhancements cannot exceed 1
4. All Finishers use 5% power.
Admins and Masters reserve the right to request you to change your Finishers if
they prove to be too powerful. You may only use the same finisher once per fight,
you cannot have two finishers that are identical, and you can choose to learn the
finishers of any opponent you defeat in combat, provided they used said finishers.
Soul Techniques
Soul Techniques are your characters ultimate trump card, and when used leave you
completely vulnerable for one week after a fight, unable to do anything. These bad
boys have few restrictions, even allowing you to reverse time!
1. Time reversals only go back to your last post, allowing you to re-do it. This is the
only effect a Soul Tech can have if it has this.
2. Attribute enhancements cannot exceed five and can last the entire fight.
3. Direct enhancements to your skill cannot exceed fifty and CANNOT last the entire
fight.
Soul Techniques do not use power, and last for the entire battle unless they are just
a single-use super move. BUT! After battle you are unable to do ANYTHING for a
week, and if you are attacked you lose instantly.
As such, if someone uses his or her Soul Technique on you, you have a problem. A
big problem.
Common soul techniques involve some kind of Super Mode, like Neo X’s Seraph
Transformation, but can even be crazy-extreme attacks such as Needleman going
nuclear.
REMEMBER! The bigger downside this Soul Tech has, if any, can GREATLY
increase it’s advantage!
Misc. Abilities
Characters can, and probably will, develop various abilities over time. These have
no regulations but MUST have downsides, and can literally have any effect you can
imagine. So enjoy! But note that the ONLY way to acquire them is through an
Extended Story!
