Kraft was part of the WRU from the very beginning, serving as an
officer in the fledgling nation’s military ever since the invasion of
mid-west America. Quickly demonstrating his superior command
skills, he rose in rank rapidly. As the years went on Kraft quickly
became the Supreme General of the WRU military. As he reached
this status, he was assigned all of the most important military
assignments.
His first major venture, as Supreme General was the Blitz of
Columbia, which led into the extremely successful Invasion of South
America. After wiping out the majority of the South American
military, and the surrender of Proto Mekvah, Kraft returned to San
Francisco to be part of the discussions on whether or not to resort
to nuclear weapons to truncate Wily’s military ventures in South
America. Despite his vehement opposition due to his generally
compassionate nature, a single nuclear-tipped missile decimated
Caracas and ended Wily’s campaign in the Americas, at least for
now.
After the attack, Kraft was stationed in the Carribbean for a while
until he was called to lead a massive force to invade Wily-held
Africa. His army marches on Mali with ease and he holds it after a
counterattack by forces led by Magicman. The land begins
incorporation into Proto Mekvah under his occupation and he
begins the push throughout Africa.
With Wily cornered in Congo, Kraft is put in charge of an
unbelievably massive fifty-eight Division military force that will be
accompanied by forty more from the newly formed New World
Alliance. He leads the Wily Base Blitz to total success, destroying
Wily’s inferior forces with ease as they reach the doors.
After the defeat of Wily thanks to the daring efforts of Megaman X
and Zero, Kraft leads his army, which now numbers sixty Divisions,
back to San Francisco where he stays until the start of World War
Three.
When World War Three finally began, Kraft was shipped out to the
East Coast with a force of twenty-five divisions to lead the initial
assault into New European Republic land. Landing not but hours
after the fall of three nuclear missiles and destruction of the three
victim cities, Madrid, Barcelona, and Cordoba, Kraft gains ground
quickly in Spain until being forced to sea by NER reinforcements.
With the Battle of the Atlantic quickly becoming a stalemate, Kraft is
moved to the Asian Front where he leads the historic Battle of
Seoul.
Kraft leads these forces to total Asian conquest and then they
begin their push through the middle east, sweeping everything all
the way to Jerusalem, capital city of the New World Alliance. With
NWA forces there heavily concentrated, Kraft is unable to take the
city or surrounding area and forced to watch in horror as a nuclear
missile ends the lives of all the soldiers and civilians holding out in
their last refuge against Global Reploid Union forces.
Soon after the fall of Jerusalem, World War Three ends in a treaty
and Kraft returns to San Francisco and is showered in awards due
to his excellent commanding during the conflict. Despite his
successes, Kraft is upset at all the violence and war.
Noticing Kraft’s internal struggle with the acts he has committed
during the World War III, Needleman relieves him of duty to give
him time to recouperate. When the war begins once again, Signas,
Kraft’s long-time but not-so-well-known friend, leads the newly-
empowered GRU troops to total victory
