Log 01: Orders from Devilbat, all projects are to stop, we are
now to be working on Project Ruination, more specifically
project Penumbra, a small model test from what I understand. I
will write in my log as soon as I look over the specs of the
project.
Log 02: The Reploid we are to be building, it is interesting. It
has a power core unlike any I have ever seen, but it's power
output is the
same as normal cores, it's mussels are also strange, but based
on my tests seem to have the same output, even the cooling
systems are strange... yet I can seem no benefit for this
change, but I have to start building the full model, and devilbat
seems sure of himself.
Log 03: We have build the body, although it is testing phase all
test are normal for a Reploid it makes me wonder what the
point of the
changes where, or what the building if this Reploid has to do
with ruination. None the less with the specs given, I believe
about 3 months
well be need to build this project
Log 04: We activated the Reploid today for the first time, we
had not finished the body total yet, and she could not move
her arms and legs, but she was quite sane when I talked to
her, she was very smart, I almost felt like I was talking to a
normal person, and not a newly
activated reploid
Log 05: All testing is going well, I have talked with Penumbra as
she likes to be called (she has taken her project name as her
own name) each time she was quite sane, remarkably she had
offered a suggestion on her own build to improve her, upon
checking the numbers I found she was right! after a small
debate the staff agreed to implement the change.
Log 06: All going well, entering final testing, I have been talking
to penumbra every day, she asks a lot of questions, and I
answer them all, it is quite strange to talk to someone while
putting them together, I believe only a month is left before she
is fully fished.
Log 07: Penumbra ask me an... odd request today, to say the
least. I am unsure how to answer her request. when I pressed
her for a reason why she would want such... that part, she
wouldn't answer, I find this whole thing quite awkward, I will try
to speak to one of the female staff
about this issue.
Log 08: I asked devilbat about Penumbra request, he seem
and confused as I, he thought for a while and then told me to
grant her the... um... request. I well look into a female staff
member to... build it for her. I find this whole thing quite
strange. I know it's not unheard of for Reploids to be build with
such things but for one to ask for one after it is almost done?
Log 09: The final testing starts today, we gained a lot of data
during the building of Penumbra, but I learned something that
saddened me, Devilbat told me penumbra would be
deactivated soon as testing ended, I'm.. not sure how to tell
her.
Log 10: She took the news better then I thought, seeing as she
is basically going to die. today is the final day of testing. ... I am
going to miss talking to her.
Log 11: I shut her down today. I feel sad, but current law would
not let her activate while testing was over. My report on the
testing was a 100% success.

It's been 5 years after Penumbra Cruorem was shut down, I
have been working on ruination, but progress has been slow.
Just last night Devilbat came to me, told me to restart
Penumbra, she was to be rebuild as a combat Reploid, I am...
not sure how to feel.
Log 02B:
It seems I well be the only person working on this project, My
pay is quite good, but I well miss the air of my friends in the lab
Log 03B:
Penumbra is awake, she seemed the same as she was the day
I deactivated her, it make sense, it's only been moments in her
mind.
Log 04B:
It has been going smoothly, all the plans devilbat gave me add
nicely to her current body, the only problem is her questions,
which I am not sure how to answer.
Log 05B:
her new power core is stronger, battle ready, but it nearly
overloads her cooling systems, when she is using it her skin
gets very hot, I have added a low level fight system as well, but
I am not sure how well it works. the weapon system is quite
strange, but I was told not to comment on it my logs.

I have not been able to record in my logs for 2 months, I have
been working on Penumbra this whole time, she well be fished
shortly. I wonder what will become of her, but I will have no way
of knowing.

I finished Penumbra today, as soon as I did, I was told that she
was to be deactivated once more, I can't say what is going
threw his mind, he has spent as much as an army on her, with
only the best weapons and armor. What could he be thinking?
Log 08B: I went to Deactivate her today, but Penumbra was
missing! It seem their where not even guards posted today!
their is something up, and I well be looking for answers, as the
project is now ending, I must end this log, I well not report my
findings here. The project has ended.
