Spike was born on the space colony Alexandria. Despite the
war down below on the Earth, Spike lived comfortably with his
parents, who sheltered him from the outside. Spike's parents
were very religious, and even though Spike doesn't consider
himself religious at all, his religious upbringing really shaped
who he is today. Spike plays the electric guitar, and his style is
very abstract and visceral. His style is a direct clash against
the super technical abilities that reploids have, which almost
makes human guitar playing obsolete.
After the Global Reploid Union took over and began to treat
the humans as second class citizens, things began to really
change. Spike was picked on by reploids, who always treated
him as if he were nothing more than a stupid and inferior life.
Spike, learning about how the reploids fought constantly on the
surface of the Earth had little respect for the reploids.
When Spike was 13, his parents died in a vehicle collision.
Since then, Spike has struggled to keep a roof over his head,
drifting from place to place.
By the time Spike turned 15, he had come to the conclusion
that Reploids themselves were inferior to humans, due to their
inability to keep peace. While humans throughout history had
constantly fought, they eventually were able to respect their
differences and keep peace throughout the world. Reploids on
the other hand, were violent and seemed to lack any form of
empathy. This lack of empathy kept them from understanding
love. Because of this, Spike is of the belief that Reploids are
not only dangerous, but evil.
