Time is easily the most important thing in this game. Whether it be game time that
can be spent on a day-by-day basis to better your character, or your time which
you can spend writing for this game to advance your character even farther, time
is the most valuable thing as far as this game is concerned.
One thing you should know about the Passage of Time is that in this game: 1
Real-Time Week = 1 Game Month. Which means that 1 Real-Time Month = 4
Game Months. This is because of the scale of events, and to best match them
with reality time needs to be measured over a longer distance than real-time. One
should also note that during Global Events time will almost always be slowed
down to accommodate events. Exactly what is going on will be explained in the
Global Event topic.
Time-Skips occur at the end of a Story Arc and vary in length. These cover the
time between Arcs when the world is usually recovering from events or enjoying a
time of calm and peace. During this time, players need to post a topic in their
posty spots outlining what their characters does during this time so we can add it
to the History Page and supply gains where needed.
Activities should also be addressed. To prevent confusion, let it be known that
only one activity can be occurring at a time in terms of training, technique
learning, money questing, traveling, etc. But this only applies to activities where
your character gets a tangible benefit like EXP or money. So you can ALWAYS do
something like a general roleplay NO MATTER WHAT.
