Long before the times of Reploids, an underground organization
created by the Catholic church started to train acolytes to be the
perfect warriors during the Crusades. They were put through hell in
their training and were put into cryosleep until the day comes where
they were needed. The project was Project ZEALOT. Only 10 people
were selected to be in this program and Unfortunately the only people
who knew of their existence were killed in a long forgotten war. During
the Nuclear haulocaust, the radiation seeped into the chamber killing
all but one. Zealot 07 instead had a mutation that made his muscles
stronger and his mind sharper. Many years after he was put into
cryosleep, an archaeologist found the chamber and awakened the
warrior. Zealot 07 immediately slaughtered the people in his confusion
of just coming out of Cryosleep. After roaming the area, he stumbled
upon a base were he met a reploid known as X. The history of recent
events was explained and Zealot decided to join the rebellion to crush
the evil needleman once and for all.
